Tryout dates/times for the 2017-2018 season are now posted, times are subject to change, please continue to regularly check our website to confirm your players dates/times for participation.
MTK will be hosting the following teams for the 2017-2018 season:

Minor Bantam *** Currently does not have a coach.

Tryout Registration: All players must be registered members in good standing with APMHA or CPMHA. All players are expected to register for the 2017-2018 according to the Home Association’s policy by September 5th, 2017 to continue with MTK.
We recommend that players arrive at least 45 - 60 minutes before the first session to allow time for check-in/jersey. Registration desk opens approx 60 minutes prior to ice time.
Tryout Registration: Players MUST register online for tryouts by clicking ONLINE REGISTRATION
**payment will be due upon registration at the arena.
Online registration closes at 5pm on Tuesday, September 5th, 2017.
(pls note if you indicated upon registration with your home association that you are planning on trying out that does not count as registered for tryouts)
Tryout Fee: The pre-registered tryout fee is $100, payable at the first session by cheque, cash or money order (please make the cheque or m/o payable to: Mississippi Thunder Kings). Players may not participate unless their tryout fee is paid in full. Walk-ups not pre-registered tryout fee is $120.
Tryout Releases: Releases begin following the 2nd evaluation session and are available on the website by jersey color/number or last name.

** Fees paid to the home association are transferred based on the home association's registration policy and applied to the above amount. You will receive a receipt in Oct/Nov for the balance owed to MTK.
Dressing Rooms: For Novice to Minor Peewee, parents/guardians are welcome to help their player tie their skates, and then we ask they leave the dressing room. MTK provides dressing room monitors with appropriate certification.
Nut-Free: It is recommended players have nut-free snacks and fruit for their break.
Hydration: Players should provide their own labeled water bottle for all tryout sessions.
Jerseys: MTK tryout jerseys will be provided upon registration. All other equipment is the responsibility of the individual player.
