End of Season!

First, our apologies for the late message. We found out late Friday night from the CP arena that we would going into the Red Zone effective Monday March 22nd. However, we were trying to figure out a way to make the last week of the season work for everyone with the allowable on ice numbers and within public health restrictions. 

Unfortunately, we were not able to get a plan together that allowed for players to return to the ice for this final week of the season.

This is not a decision we wanted to make, but given the allowable numbers in the Facilites and also due to Almonte and Pakenham arenas already being closed for the season we simply aren’t in a position to be able to continue while adhering to the current Public Health restrictions in place at our ice rental facilities.

So, as we end our season much differently than we would like, we want to thank all the coaches and volunteers who helped make this season what it was. We thank our parents and players for following the guidelines and doing their part to ensure a safe experience.

We do realize this wasn’t the season anyone wanted and hope that next hockey season we will be able see a return to normal.

Over the next few weeks, please be patient with us as we try to examine the numbers to determine a refund process and the amount.  

As an executive,  we are working on ending the season on the books and looking at getting an executive in place for 2021/2022.  If you might be interested in volunteering your time on the MTK executive please reach out to me.
