COVID - New Arena CapacityMTK - COVID Arena Protocols
Effective November 8th, 2021, everyone aged 12 and up will require proof of vaccination to enter the arena or a valid Medical exemption(refer to HEO Vaccination Policy).
Each team is responsible for assigning a Team Safety Officer or Officers. These individuals are responsible for the following:
- Arrive 25 minutes prior to the scheduled ice time to check in with arena staff;
- Monitor the entrance 20 minutes prior to ice time;
- Check for proof of vaccination for all persons (aged 12 and older) entering the facility; and,
- Maintain a contract tracing list of all those entering the facility through paper, MTK contact tracing link or other teams protocol.
- Ensure you are in contact with Visiting team safety officer.
- * No In and Out privileges, doors will be locked!
Maximum arena capacity:
- Almonte - on ice 60, spectators 250
- Pakenham - on ice 60, spectators 120
- CP 1 - spectators 330
- CP 2 - spectators 80 - 70 in stands, 10 standing
General Rules:
- All persons entering the facility must wear a face covering;
- Persons engaged in physical sport may remove their face covering prior to stepping on the ice and must put their face covering back on after exiting the ice;
- Coaches are asked to wear masks on ice as much as possible;
- Dressing rooms available 20 minutes before your ice time; and,
- Highly recommend managers and safety officers reach out to away team coaches/managers/safety officers to confirm their home rink requirements in advance of your ice time to avoid any surprises!
- Spectators will be admitted 5 minutes before scheduled ice time.
- CP1 & CP2 No Food or Beverage
