Dear Members,
Our Annual General Meeting (AGM) for The Mississippi Thunderkings will be held on Wednesday May 8
th at 7pm. The meeting will be held upstairs at The Almonte Arena (John Levi Community Centre) 182 Bridge St, Almonte ON.
The AGM is the yearly gathering of our MTK membership, where annual reports are shared, and voting takes place for changes to the MTK Constitution and Executive Board.
Come help drive positive change for an awesome 2024/2025 hockey season!
Please note that the following director positions will be up for election:
President*
VP administration
Director of Finance
Director of Equipment
Director of Risk and Discipline
All nominations for director positions must be received by the Director of Communications by 6pm April 24th, 2024.
*Note the Director role of President requires the nominated member to have one-year prior experience on the board at any time in the past.

ARTICLE 5. ELECTION OF THE EXECUTIVE BOARD MEMBERS
1. 5.1. In accordance with the related Bylaws, elections of Executive Member Positions will occur at the Annual General Meeting
2. 5.2. Notice of Executive Positions up for election will be made available in writing at least 21 days in advance of the Annual General Meeting
3. 5.3. Nominations for open Executive Positions must be submitted in writing by 18:00 h 14 days prior to the date of the Annual General Meeting.
4. 5.4. Notice of nominations for open Executive positions will be made available in writing to all voting members at least 12 days in advance of the Annual General Meeting.
5. 5.5. Nominations will not be accepted from the floor of the Annual General Meeting, and all unfilled executive positions will be filled by appointment by the Board at the next MTKMHC Executive Board Meeting after the Annual General Meeting date.
